Pensacola Beach, FL Family Photographer
What an amazingly fun family session this was! When Ashleigh contacted us and said that her whole family was in town and that she wanted to give them an extended family session as a gift, we were so excited! There were 19 people in all! Whew! Ashleigh said she wanted at least one formal picture where everyone was smiling and looking the camera and after that, it was time to play! And play we did! We started with the whole family at the big fort inside Ft. Pickens National Park. There is so much history and it is such a beautiful place to shoot out on Pensacola Beach. Then we moved just a few steps away to the beach on the National Seashore where the kids had a blast practicing their skills! It was so fun to see the family as one big group and then to break them off into their smaller amazing little families. The pictures of the little kids with their Great-Grandmother had me wiping away happy tears! I mean, four generations worth of love being shared and I got to be there to see it. So awesome. I loved their energy and the way Ashleigh and her siblings all laughed and shared in the silliness. Walking back after sunset, I learned that Ashleigh’s parents have been foster parents to many, many children over her lifetime and you can just tell that it has taught her the importance of family and the connection that gives to us all. We had the privilege of seeing Ashleigh, her Mom, and her two adorable boys just last month for the Valentine’s mini sessions that Lindsey shot! Check out how sweet and handsome these boys are! https://www.lindseyfriar.com/2016/01/18/jarquin-brothers…riar-photography/ We can’t wait to see them again this Spring and Summer for more beach sessions!
