Howard Family – Pensacola Beach Florida Family Photographer
Ok, this family is getting added to my style guide for reals! Love the way this mama coordinated their outfits.
So, Angie first reached out to me after finding me on a google search. They have never had pictures done before and they were going to be traveling though Pensacola on their way back from Walt Disney World. It had been raining all week and I knew this was the ONLY day they were going to be available. Lucky for us, the sun came a shining. BUT it happened to be the COLDEST day ever on Pensacola Beach. I think it was in the 30’s. The kids were such troopers until the very end. I pushed our shoot to start a little later to maximize great light and knowing the kids would only probably give us 30 min before they were to fire us. We started at the bottom of a dune in Fort Pickens to help block the wind. It did help a little. I’m just so in love with what we got. Her kids were so well behaved and other than the littlest 2 year old being just cold and not wanting to run around, I got smiles out of all of them and they don’t even look too cold 😉 They took turns keeping warm in blankets and hugs while I worked with each child. After I got enough family shots and individual shots, we started to walk down to the beach to get the water in some pictures but only made it about 1/2 way down before the kids were like NO! Too Cold! LOL! But overall I think the session could not have gone better. I would have rescheduled had they been local. I would have loved to have spent more time with them. This mama of 5 makes it look so easy. She home schools all of them. They were all so well behaved and you could just feel the love of this family. Really enjoyed meeting them and so grateful! I’m telling them they need to come back for a vacation 😉
