Puzey Family – Family Reunion – Pensacola Beach Photographer
When Rossi reached out earlier this year to do an extended family session with her in laws, I was so excited! Not only have Rossi and I worked together before, we kinda grew up together. So. many. memories… and too many to share 😉
They were in town for Gulf Breeze High School’s class of 1997’s 20th year reunion and were all going to be together and wanted pics to capture this time in their lives. I seriously was so excited to see everyone because we all hung out in high school. I was excited to see everyone’s kids. GAH, they are so cute! They make the prettiest little kiddos. They were 6 and under so I had my hands full, lol. I’ve photographed Rossi’s kids a few times and Julie’s kids one other time YEARS ago and this was my first time shooting Maggie and Jason’s. I seriously LOVE them! We were able to capture individual family portraits as well as siblings, cousins and grandparents and grandchildren shots! This is one of my most fave extended sessions to date! The light was unreal that night. There was a lightening storm about 12 miles off the coast that looked pretty scary. You would never know because the sun was setting on the north side of the island. It gave off the most gorgeous orange yellow glow. These images were almost perfect right out of camera. Very little had to be done. Well until the end. That tail end of the storm all of a sudden brought in gail force winds and changed the lighting a bit. The Puzeys were troopers through it all; the kids and the weather 😉 Overshare in order… #lovemyjob
