I walked up and the first person I saw and recognized was Michael! Michael! I hadn’t seen him since high school! His wife, Brittany, and I had set the whole thing up so I just had no idea. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I’d always liked Michael, he was nice and a super, super talented artist. I was so excited and honored to be shooting his family’s portraits. I was all of a sudden nervous too, LOL. I mean if anybody would be picky it would be him because he has an eye. We took art class together and I’ve seen some of the stuff he has created. haha But seriously they are so nice and laid back, I was put at ease instantly. Their boys were loud, silly, & and oh-so-cute! I mean seriously look how handsome and hip they are! I had a blast playing with them. Michael’s sister lives with them too and seriously the most gentle, sweetest soul I’ve ever encountered. I love how Brittany said she definitely wanted her included in all of the pictures just like she is one of the kids. Brittany was not only stunning {her outfit was killer too}, but so sweet and graciously invited me into her home. We opted for this lifestyle type session taken in their home in the heart of Gulf Breeze. I love these type of sessions because they are so sentimental. Kids grow up fast and it’s awesome to have this milestone documented. I would love to see a comparison in a year or two. So glad I connected with this family and this is why I love what I do! #lovemyjob
