Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital – Christmas Photos

Giving back… It take s a village. I love what this developed into! Y’all know I love Ms. Charley Smiles for Baby Charley and have been shooting her for a little over 4 years. Charley has been battling cancer for 5 years, since she was born. I wanted to do more. I think about those kids and how they are spending holidays in the hospital and how they are immune compromised and not able to go to a more public set up. I thought they might love the opportunity to do their own holiday photos and why not bring it to them??!! SO, I had reached out to a friend of mine Stacy Jeffrey Wilks who I know volunteers at the oncology unit for kids often, here in Pensacola. She helped me get in touch with Jennifer Gruenke at the hospital and set the whole thing up. So what was supposed to be Santa photos, ended up being gorgeous Christmas themed minis held up at the hospital. {Unfortunately, my Santa has fallen ill and was not able to make it.} Thanks to my friend Erica Whitaker Photography who provided the amazing set ups and shot along side me on another set as well for families. I want to do more! I loved the experience

These kids are true little heroes and inspiration to living life to the fullest and with a smile on their face. We laughed, ate fake and real cookies, lol, and got snuggles in with family members. I love the memories we made! We also had the pleasure of having the service dog at the hospital, Scout, join us for a few images as well! Thank you Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital for having us! Here is a little sneak peek!
