This sweet little family… I mean mama about blew me away when she stepped out of her car! She is SOOOO Gorgeous! Especially next to my homeless looking self LOL She is such a sweetheart and have to say I appreciate her so much for reaching out to me more than once. I have to admit, I’ve been really struggling with getting to new clients. My focus after my nanny quit end of Sept 22nd with no notice, was to maintain my promise to already booked clients (I shot well over 200 session this fall) and with me only being one person running this business, answering emails from new clients this past fall has been… well, embarrassing. I’m usually SO quick. Always connected. But this past year with almost zero help, a bad RA flare, and having to home-school, care for, you know. everything it takes to be a mom to 5, and run this business… Something had to go. 🙁 And then I have sweet understanding clients who persevered and believed in me and my art. Ugh I’m emotional over it because I’m just so grateful. I truly love doing this and capturing these moments and want to do it all. I just have to realize and clients have to realize there’s only so much I can do so fast. I mean, I’m still nursing my now 18 month, we are isolated to this peninsula, we are in a pandemic, nanny quit, but all I can think is how grateful I am to just have people tell me I’m doing a good job. It goes a long way when I feel like I’m struggling. ANYWAYS, just keeping it real. As I get older, I realize I want to BE myself and not be so hard on myself in being absolutely perfect in the business world. Sometimes you might have to reach out more than once, but please PLEASE reach out again. Me not answering is just me trying to be a good mom and do what I love and make people happy.
